Liam Geddes, of Ballina, County Mayo, and winner of Ireland’s Irish Idol makes his American debut at Pittsfield’s Colonial Theatre on Wed., Oct. 8 at 8PM.
The 17 year old singer chose his hometown’s Sister City of Pittsfield to make his first Amercian appearance. Proceeds from this concert will benefit the Cultural Exchange Program between St. Joseph’s Basketball team and Ballina’s high school team.
Also on the program are Andy Kelly and the Pittsfield Sister-City Jazz Ambassadors.
Louis Walsh of Euro Song 2008 describes Liam as, “The best new singer in Ireland.”
