Pittsfield CityJazz Festival

The 2007 Pittsfield CityJazz Festival was held Mon-Fri, Oct. 1-5, 2007 and included the following programs and events. City Council president Gerald Lee reads a mayoral proclamation of “Jazz Week in Pittsfield.”

Jazz in Schools (Pittsfield high schools and middle schools), thanks in part to grants from KB Toys and Greylock Federal Credit Union.

Presented in connection with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, thanks to the generous support of the Legacy Banks Foundation.

Sunday, Oct. 7 - Taconic High School, 2:30pm
Special event: John Medeski solo concert, plus commissioned work for Jazz piano soloist with youth orchestra from Pittsfield high schools. Presented in part through a grant from Nickelodeon.
